“Last election New Zealand had the lowest voter turnout since before women were allowed to vote! Thus the National Party got back in on the say-so of only a third of New Zealand voters, and now they are in the process of carving up the country and selling our publicly owned assets such as the electricity companies, which make good profits.
If you have had your doubts about asset sales, now’s your chance to be heard. Join us in this crucial protest march in Auckland from 3pm at Britomart this Saturday April 28 an we will demand a stop to the Key government’s cheap as chips fire-sale of our public assets and resources.
Protesting government policy Works! . In 2010, 10′s of thousands of people marching in Auckland put the brakes on the government’s aggressive mining policies. The time has come again to send a clear message to our Government. The message is that key strategic assets should remain under public ownership.
Brought to you by the Aotearoa Is Not For Sale Movement.
Endorsed by Labour, the Greens, Mana, NZ First, Greenpeace and the Hikoi to stop Asset Sales”
