Media Watch May 6, 2012 3:15 pmI think the media is mentally very dense in NZ. They don’t respond to issues until they are very sure which way public opinion leans. Then they come out for it. Very slow. Always leading the charge from the rear.

I agree. Len Brown is now coming out, saying he wants to beef up harm minimisation for the new Convention Centre. That’s like offering lead umbrellas to people who live in the neighborhood of a planned nuclear reactor.
